About the name

A fork bomb is a tiny shell program that copies itself until the machine runs out of room: :(){ :|:& };:. Please don't run it.

We liked the idea of one small thing turning into many. So that's the plan: one studio that keeps forking into small, focused apps. We're keeping the copying and skipping the crash.

  1. Fork. Every app starts as a branch off the same studio, with the same standards.
  2. Build. Each one gets its own name, colors and personality.
  3. Ship. Small, focused apps, built and looked after by a tiny team.
